Monte Wants 'My Three Sons' to Explain Barbados Tax Haven For CSL
According to news reports today, Prime Minister Paul Martin's three sons will be called before a parliamentary finance committee this fall to explain how their father's business (Canada Steamship Lines) takes advantage of tax havens in Barbados.
The second question is likely to be why the Barbados tax status has remained unchanged even though most other countries have been eliminated as tax havens by the Liberal government.
I suspect that Daddy will be outraged that the finance committee, led by Monte Solberg, has the temerity to question what his family is doing while he's running the country.
