Newfoundland Elects Liberal

The liberal candidate, Todd Russell, will win the seat easily. The result was expected by most observers. This will probably put an end to the brinkmanship in the House of Commons. If the Conservative strategy now is to ease up and wait for a more opportune time to challenge the Liberals, Mr. and Mrs. Grewal are likely to become the first 'casualties' of the change in strategy.

"I'm going to vote for a candidate who I think is going to do something good and not try to further their own personal agenda," said Keith Russell who voted in Happy Valley-Goose Bay." - CBC News
